In response to extensive customer research, Baxi Commerical is proud to announce a new name for its Interpart division, which more clearly captures the high quality behind its offer; Baxi Genuine Parts.
Baxi Genuine Parts is now included in all packaging, brochures and promotional material. Later in the year, customers can also expect to see the arrival of the new Baxi Genuine Parts website which will replace the former Interpart site. Other than the new name, the business will remain unchanged and continue to offer the same first-class service.
As the UK market leader, Interpart has a 30-year history of supplying quality, rigorously tested spares and parts from all Baxi brands such as Potterton Commercial, Baxi SenerTec and Andrews Water Heaters. The new name is designed to more clearly promote the advantages of dealing with a leading manufacturer, with the assurance of the core three focuses of high-quality standards, reliability and safety every time, all backed-up by outstanding technical and support.
The move is part of Baxi Commercial's continued focus on driving safety and quality standards in the UK's heating spares sector. While the use of non-genuine parts is relatively low in the UK, the impact of unknowingly installing one can be huge; implicating the integrity of the installation, the safety of the owner and cost of ensuing repair work. In addition, they can cause the user's boiler warranty to be invalid.
David Willetts, general manager, Baxi Genuine Parts, said: "Following extensive research among both merchants, distributors and heating engineers, it became apparent that the name Interpart didn't quite capture our business offer.
"As such, we have introduced the new name to add greater clarity to the Baxi proposition of providing genuine parts from the original equipment manufacturers to give customers assurance of quality, safety, reliability and, in turn, peace of mind.”
He adds: "For us, it's all about the assurance of being genuine. While instances of non-genuine parts are uncommon, the safety and cost implications of unknowingly using one can be huge, not to mention the reputational damage to both the merchant and installer.
